“If I think throughout my past there have been guys I’ve liked, who SEEMED to have been interested as they’ll flirt like at a party or when we run into each other, but the minute I become vulnerable and honest about my feelings (and not just flirty) they turn cold.
It seems to happen with a lot of guys. So, I’m wondering if being open and vulnerable only works with a certain type of man, or after a certain period of time. Or, it’s completely possible I’m terrible at reading signals. Maybe I*think* they’re flirting but they’re really just being nice.
What do you do if you are completely open with someone and you immediately get nothing or very little back? I don’t want to be a pushover, so when do you know when to give up on someone?“
